Proud to Care Cornwall will be attending Armed Forces Day this week as they invite everyone to say hello and find out more about working in care.
The Armed Forces Day events are spread across 23, 24 and 25 June in Falmouth. The stand will be based in the community area where you can find out more about Proud to Care alongside other supporting organisations and charities.
Cornwall Council cabinet member for adult social care and health Andy Virr said:
“Our Proud to care team will be out and about at a lot of events this summer but this event is a special one in Cornwall’s calendar. It’s an event to say thank you to our armed forces where many people from across Cornwall will be headed to enjoy the activities and soak up the atmosphere.
“A job in care could be an ideal fit to work around other family commitments. Pop over and say hello to find out more”
The community area is based on Church Street car park and will be available from midday on Friday, 10am on Saturday and 11am on Sunday.
