The Proud to Care Cornwall website has been redesigned to make it easier than ever to start a career in care.
Proud to Care Cornwall is an initiative that supports care providers in Cornwall to attract more people into the care workforce.
The recently upgraded website now allows people to upload their CV, search for jobs in their community and apply directly through the website.
Cornwall Council cabinet lead for adult social care and health, Cllr Andy Virr said: “Following feedback we wanted to make it easier for people to find and apply for jobs in Cornwall’s care sector.
“The enhanced functionality means that people can easily search for employers in their local area, they can upload their CV and use just one website to apply for a range of roles across Cornwall.”
Cllr Virr added: “Whether you want to work as a care worker or have skills in other areas such as kitchen work, management, staff development and training or people management, there are a range of roles available. You can also research what it takes to have a career in care, as well as understanding more about what a normal day looks like for a care worker.”
There is currently a demand for more people to consider working in Cornwall’s care sector. This will help to keep Cornwall’s health and care sector moving during these winter months.
There are new jobs being added to the website every day. If you don’t see anything suitable on your first visit – just keep checking back.
