An Hens Kensa Ha Dewetha (Land's End to Hayle)
Land's End is internationally recognised and a focal point for any visitor to Cornwall. Heading east along quiet lanes, the trail leaves the magnificent coastline and enters the ancient landscape of Penwith. The trail takes in the picturesque villages of Sennen, Lamorna and Mousehole and reveals fantastic views across Mount's Bay.
Who can use the trail?
The First and last Trail is a mixture of off and on road sections, much of it is hilly and is shared with vehicles and pedestrians.
The first section of the trail from Land's End is suitable for families, cyclists, walkers and horse riders, however to access Sennen there is a steep on road section.
The section of the trail between Penzance and Marazion is off road and suitable for families, less experienced cyclists and wheel chair users and follows the Southwest Coast path.
Please note that the section of the trail along Marazion does not allow horse riders as it is on a public footpath.
Description of the trail
The total length of the trail 25 miles (39.6 km).
Starting from Land's End:
The first section from Land's End to the top of Sennen Cove is off road and relatively level, however to access Sennen there is a steep on road section.
There is a level route between Mousehole, Newlyn, Penzance and Marazion, as well as excellent links to popular tourist attractions such as Newlyn Art Gallery, Jubilee Pool and St Michael's Mount.
