Our shared facility
Hayle has an Emergency Services Community Station which is the first in Cornwall to co-locate fire and rescue, police and ambulance.
This is to improve partnership working and integration between these services in a shared facility.
Our crews
The station was the first in the UK to pilot a new Tri-Service Safety Officer role, which has some police powers as well as being a co-responder for the ambulance service, an anti-social case worker and being an on-call firefighter.
Staff training night for on-call firefighters is Tuesday 7pm to 9pm.
The station is also home to the multi-skilled Tri-Service Safety Officer, who supports the ambulance service, police and fire and rescue service.
