Our crews
Helston has an on-call fire station, staffed by on-call firefighters. Staff training night is Tuesday 7pm to 9pm.
The station also provides a first response in medical care, through partnership with South West Ambulance Service Foundation Trust (SWASFT).
Co-responders assist the local community and West Country Ambulance in ensuring prompt first assistance medical treatment is given to people living in isolated areas.
Find out more about their co-responder role.
The station is also home to the multi-skilled Tri-Service Safety Officer, who supports the ambulance service, police and fire and rescue service.
