The services are for adults with an eligible social care need, or for people who want to pay for their own care. The services support people with:
- physical disabilities
- learning disabilities
- autism or Asperger's
- sensory loss
- dementia or memory loss
- age related needs and frailty
Around 800 people a year are funded by us to attend these services. The aim of these services is to improve people's lives and help them live more independent lives.
Each service will be helped by:
- Enhancing quality of life for people with care and support needs
- Delaying and reducing the need for care and support
- Ensuring that people have a positive experience of care and support
- Safeguarding adults whose circumstances make them vulnerable and protecting them from avoidable harm
