Quality Assurance

What we do

The Quality Assurance Team work with all commissioned adult care providers. We complete quality assurance reviews and report on our findings.

A quality assurance review provides care and support services with an objective look at their business. This provides the Council with assurance on quality and care within each service.

Provider Quality Feedback

The Quality Assurance Team collates feedback about services from a variety of sources. These include providers, social workers and community health teams.

Any compliments or concerns about a care service can be shared with the team using the provider quality feedback form.

Please ensure that you read the guidance before completing the online form.

Provider quality feedback form

Sometimes, providers need help to maintain care at an appropriate level. The team works with others in the Council and the provider to help them make improvements.

The Quality Assurance Team use a 'risk-based' approach to prioritise and focus work with providers.

Safeguarding Adults

The Quality Assurance Team works with the Safeguarding Adults team. They will support providers where there are concerns. For more information see our Safeguarding Adults page.
