The Affordable Housing Heads of Terms document is provided for applicants to complete and identify the proposed affordable housing contribution. The document should be completed and added to planning applications where there is either an onsite or offsite affordable housing contribution proposed. There are three sections;
- Complete Section one where plot numbers are known for
- Full
- Reserved Matters
- or Outline planning applications
- Complete Section two for Outline applications where plot numbers are not known
- Section three is for Offsite Contributions.
Completing the Affordable Housing Heads of Terms document will assist the affordable housing officers considering the proposed scheme.
Depending on the application type all or some of the following will be required:
- An accommodation schedule setting out the
- number
- type
- and tenure of affordable dwellings proposed
- Housing standards:
- NDSS
- Category 2
- and Category 3 type dwellings
- A layout plan showing the location of the affordable dwellings edged blue.
- Submission of a phasing plan detailing the affordable housing plots
- Details of sales values for any intermediate affordable dwellings.
- Proposals for timing of delivery of the affordable dwellings, in line with the s106 phasing requirements as set out in the SPD
- Any offsite contribution (as agreed with affordable housing officer)
