What to do if you are rough sleeping or know about someone rough sleeping:
If you need help with this - you can either:
- Alert the local authority and outreach services by making a referral to Streetlink or by calling 0300 500 0914
- Support or advise the rough sleeper to present as homeless by telephoning 0300 1234 161
Rough sleeping in severe weather
Cornwall has a Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP). This opens during periods of severe weather, providing shelter to rough sleepers. Access to this is via the Outreach services or Housing Options.
Please refer any rough sleepers to the Homeless Assessment Hub on 0300 1234 161. If you are rough sleeping or are concerned about someone who is rough sleeping, please raise an alert via Streetlink.
Specific accommodation will be made available for rough sleepers during this period as per the SWEP Policy.

- Health for Homeless - provide healthcare services to people without homes in Cornwall
- Coastline - provide a community hub which is open to anyone and crisis accommodation at Chi Winder on Dudnance Lane, Pool
