Can I access my details online?
As a pensioner member, you can sign up for My Pension Online. This allows you to access your pension account details and update some of these securely online. To find out more about this member self-service facility and sign up, please visit our My Pension Online section of this website.
How do I change the bank account that my pension is paid into?
As a pensioner member, you can sign up for My Pension Online. This allows you to access your pension account details and update your bank details securely online.
If you wish to change the bank account that your pension is paid into, please complete a change of bank details form. You should return it to the Pensions Section or log in to My Pension Online.
We will then update our records to ensure that your pension is paid into your new account.
It is important you notify us that you have changed your bank account before the payroll closes for the month. If you miss the payroll closedown date we will not be able to pay your pension into your new account until the following month.
What if I move abroad?
If you move abroad your pension can be paid into your overseas account through Western Union.
Your pension will be paid into your overseas bank account and will be converted into the currency of that country. Any overseas bank charges incurred are currently met by the Pensions Fund. But, the amount of pension you will receive will depend on the exchange rate on the day your pension is paid each month.
How do I change my address?
All you need to do is write to us or email us, detailing your new address and quote your National Insurance Number and/or date of birth. We will then ensure that we update our records and all future correspondence will be sent to your new address.

How do I update my marital status?
If you get married or divorced, it is important to keep your pension records up to date. You should by provide us with a photocopy of the relevant certificates (marriage certificate or decree absolute). If your marital status changes it is advisable to complete a new nomination form as stated below.
How do I change my nomination record?
As a pensioner member, you can sign up for My Pension Online. This allows you to access your pension account details and update some of these securely online.
If your circumstances have changed, it is important that you complete a new expression of wish for lump sum death benefits form. Alternatively, you could sign up and log in to My Pension Online and make the changes securely online.
If applicable you may also wish to complete a nomination of cohabiting partner for survivors pension form. Please read the notes on the reverse of this form before completing to see if you are eligible to nominate a cohabiting partner. If you are married there is no need to complete this form.
When do I need to tell by?
You may need to change your personal details, such as:
- your address
- your bank account that your monthly pension is paid into
If so, then we need to know by the following dates. This is in order to apply the change before the pensions payroll closes for the month:
