This is an exciting opportunity within our friendly, supportive and progressive Development Management team for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals with excellent communication skills, who want to make a difference to the built and natural environment, to join our busy planning teams as a Graduate Development Officers.
Depending on your knowledge and experience your main responsibilities will be the processing of a range of planning applications and associated consents, including providing pre-application advice on proposed applications, assessing, preparing and presenting reports on planning applications, representing the Council in any appeals and investigating alleged breaches of planning control.
There will also be an opportunity to gain experience in other teams within the planning service.
