We want Cornwall to be an actively inclusive place to live, work and visit.
As a council, it is important that we lead by example in demonstrating our commitment to equality of opportunity. Our work is to make sure that no-one is left behind.
We know that many of our residents face barriers because of race, nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, and disability.
We must acknowledge, understand, and measure the impact of these direct and indirect barriers our residents face. We can then act and start to address them.
We want to ensure that we have the data we need, and that we work equitably with staff, customers and service users, residents, and partners.
Tackling inequality will be part of our everyday business. We will strive to respond to the main barriers experienced by those living and working in Cornwall.

We will be adding further content soon.
