More hosts are needed for the Homes for Ukraine Scheme.
Please contact Cornwall Council Resettlement Service to register your interest.
As the war in Ukraine continues more refugee families are arriving in the UK. All are in need of accommodation.
There were many expressions of interest to become hosts at the start of the conflict. Some of these proved to be unsuitable as accommodation providers.
For others, their circumstances have changed, and they can no longer offer accommodation to Ukrainian refugee families. Some existing hosts are unable to extend their current accommodation offer.
We are continuing to work with government and other agencies to match families with hosts after completing safeguarding and suitability checks.
We are also managing rematches for families whose current placement has ended and are in need of new host accommodation.
Please email ResettlementService@cornwall.gov.uk with any questions about the scheme.

We're supporting the government’s initiative to offer homes to refugees, given the harrowing situation they are facing.
