Apply for us to review your property assessment for a bin or sack


You can only apply to us to review our assessment of your property and exchange your rubbish bin or sack once we've started rolling out the new service in your area and delivered your bin or sack to you.

If you haven’t taken delivery of your new bin or sack yet, you must wait until it's delivered to see how it fits your property first.

Please only apply once your property information in My Area shows your bins have been delivered. It can take up to 48 hours from delivery of your bins for the information in My Area to update.

If, when your bin or sack arrives, you think we've assessed your property incorrectly and it won't work for your home, you can ask us to review our assessment of your property.

  • if there are 3 or more steps between where your wheelie bin is stored and your property boundary
  • the amount of outside space available for you to store a wheelie bin
  • if we use a specialist vehicle to access your property to collect your rubbish

Assisted collections

If no one in your household is able to move a wheelie bin because of a mobility issue, health condition or disability our crews can provide you with an assisted collection.
