How we deal with our materials, waste and resources now and in the future is one of the biggest challenges we face.
Over the past years we have seen some reduction in waste generated. We have also seen improvement in how much waste is collected for recycling in Cornwall, but we need to do much more.
Being better at managing household materials, waste and resources is beneficial to us all. It is important that everyone in Cornwall makes an active contribution to reducing the amount of waste we create. It is also important to reuse and recycle more.
Our strategy is titled ‘It’s in our hands’. Only when we all work together, can we make a real difference for Cornwall and its unique and special environment.
The Resources and Waste Strategy sets out our future goals and aspirations. It also provides details of our future delivery plans and promotes changes required by all.
