Make a request online
Freedom of Information requests should be made in writing. Please fill in the form below as fully as possible so that we can deal with your request efficiently.
Items marked with an asterisk (*) must be completed. Other information may help us with your enquiry but you do not have to supply it.
When you send us this form, you will be sent an email which will contain the information you submitted. This will be sent to you without encryption so please ensure you do not include any sensitive information on this form.
Privacy statement
We will only process the information input on this form to deal with your Freedom of Information Request.
The information you provide may be shared across the various service areas of Cornwall Council, as well as the Council’s wholly owned Group of Companies (such as Cormac, Cornwall Housing, Cornwall Airport Newquay & Cornwall Development Company), in order to fully investigate and answer the request. Where we need to liaise with a third party who provides a service for the Council, we will only share details of the request. We will not share your personal information. We will contact you to get your permission if it becomes necessary to pass on any personal information.
In line with our data retention policy, your personal information will be kept for up to 3 years from the date your enquiry is closed and will be stored with restricted authorised access.
