St Austell Town Council - Central and Gover Ward election - 23 November 2023

Future elections

Police and Crime Commissioner Election - The next PCC election is due in May 2024.

Cornwall Council and Town and Parish Council Elections - The full council elections are held every four years. They are next due in May 2025.

UK Parliamentary General Election - The date of the next UK General Election has not yet been announced. The maximum term of a Parliament is 5 years. The next UK Parliamentary General Election must be held by January 2025, but it could happen at any point before then.

Parliamentary constituencies are set to change after the independent Boundary Commission for England (BCE) completed its review of parliamentary constituency boundaries.

Statutory orders for the new parliamentary constituency boundaries will be made by 1 November 2023. After that date, the new boundaries will be used for the next general election.

However, if a parliamentary by election is called before then, it would be run on current (old) boundaries.

By-elections and referendums - When these polls occur, we will update this web page with the official notices. These notices should also be displayed locally on public notice boards.
