Road Closure – Green Valley Road, Bodmin
3 July ongoing
Due to resurfacing works there is a closure on Green Valley Road. During the closure Go-Cornwall Services 26 and 89 are serving Bodmin Hospital and Westheath Avenue but not operating via Dunmere Road. Go-Cornwall Services 11 and 96 are operating via Dunmere Road but are not serving the hospital.
Road Closure – Par Green, Par
11 September to 22 December 2023
Due to the installation of a new water culvert Par Green between its junction with Moorland Road and the rail crossing will be closed between the 11 September and 22 December. During the closure period First Service 24 and the Go-Cornwall Service 24 evening service in both directions will do a loop around Par Green and operate via St Andrews Road and will be unable to serve stops on Harbour Road and St Blazey Road.
Emergency Road Closure – Penpol Road, Hayle
16 October to 14 November 2023
Due to an emergency closure on Penpol Road, Go-Cornwall Service 15 will be unable to serve Queensway between the 16 October and 14 November. School buses for Hayle Academy are being allowed through the closure and will operate as normal.
Road Closure – Grampound Remembrance Parade
11 November 2023
Due to the Grampound Remembrance Parade there will be a temporary road closure in Grampound between 1050 and 1120. First Kernow Service 27 may be delayed due to this closure.
Road Closure – Tywardreath Remembrance Parade
12 November 2023
Due to road closures in Tywardreath the First Kernow Service 24 1035 departure from Heligan and the Service 24 1205 departure from Fowey will operate under diversion via Polmear and will not serve Par Station, Tywardreath and Castledore.
Road Closure – Wadebridge Remembrance Parade, Egloshayle
12 November 2023
Egloshayle Road will be closed between 1020 and 1050 and then between 1150 and 1215 on the 12 November. Go-Cornwall Service 11 will operate under diversion during these times and not serve Egloshayle.
Road Closure – Helston Remembrance Parade
12 November 2023
Due to the Helston Remembrance Parade there will be a series of road closures in the centre of Helston between 1000 and 1230 on the 12 November. Buses will operate under diversion and will not serve stops on Coinagehall Street. Please confirm details with your operator.
Road Closure – Hayle Remembrance Parade
12 November 2023
There will be a series of road closures affecting Commercial Road and Hayle Terrace between the hours of 1030 and 1145 on the 12 November. There will be delays and diversions during these hours with stops along these roads not being served. Please confirm details with your operator.
Road Closure – Saltash Remembrance Parade
12 November 2023
Due to the Saltash Remembrance Parade Go-Cornwall Services 10, 11, and 12 will be unable to serve Callington Road and Fore Street between 1455 and 1600 on the 12 November. Buses will divert via North Road and New Road. Please confirm Stagecoach Service 2/2A diversion with the operator.
Road Closure – Torpoint Remembrance Parade
12 November 2023
Due to the Torpoint Remembrance Parade Go- Cornwall Service 70 will be unable to serve Harvey Street and Antony Road between 1040 and 1230 on the 12 November. Buses will divert via Carbeile Road.
Road Closure – Truro Remembrance Parade
12 November 2023
Due to the Truro Remembrance Parade there will be a closure on Boscawen Street between 1000 and 1630 on the 12 November. During the closure inbound bus services from the railway station direction will divert via St Austell Street and will not serve the Museum and Boscawen Street stops. Outbound services towards the railway station from the bus station will operate via St Austell Street, but will still serve Victoria Square.
Road Closure – Probus Remembrance Parade
12 November 2023
Due to the remembrance parade, the main road through Probus will be closed between 1000 and 1050. During the closure period Go-Cornwall Services 27 and 50 will divert via the Probus By-Pass and not serve the village.
Road Closure – Marazion Remembrance Parade
12 November 2023
Due to the Marazion Remembrance Parade there will be closures in the centre of Marazion between 1000 and 1400 on the 12 November. First Service U4 and Land’s End Coaster will operate under diversion during the closures. Please confirm diversion details with the operator.
Road Closure - Bodmin Remembrance Parade
12 November 2023
There will be as series of road closures in the centre of Bodmin between 0845 and 1100 on the 12 November which will disrupt Go-Cornwall Services 11 and 26. Please confirm any diversion details with the operator.
Road Closure - Liskeard Remembrance Parade
12 November 2023
There will be a series of road closures in the centre of Liskeard between 1025 and 1230 on 12 November. There will be disruptions to Go-Cornwall Services 11 and 73 during this time. Please confirm diversions with the operator.
Road Closure – St Day Road, Vogue
13 to 17 November 2023
Due to surfacing works St Day Road will be closed between 0730 and 1700 between the 13 and 17 November. During the closure period Go-Cornwall Service 40 will operate into Redruth via the B3298 Tolgullow to Mount Ambrose then the A393 to the cemetery where it will resume its normal route. From Redruth the reverse will operate. Stops in Vogue will not be served. School buses will be allowed through the closure and will operate as normal.
Road Closure – Tredrea Lane, St Erth
13 to 17 November 2023
Tredrea Lane will be closed between the 13 and 17 November. During the closure period Go-Cornwall Service 15 from Penzance will operate along Gwallon Lane and Rospeath Lane to Crowlas Crossroads, then via the A30 to St Erth Station, then via the A30 and B3301 to Chennalls Road, St Erth where it will turn and follow its usual route into Hayle. From Hayle the reverse will operate.
Road Closure – B3253 Widegates to St Martin
13 to 24 November 2023
Due to resurfacing works there will be road closures on the B3253 between 0930 and 1600 on weekdays only between the 13 and 24 November. During the closure hours buses will divert as follows:
Go-Cornwall Service 10 will divert via Widegates, Morval and Sandplace and will be unable to serve No Man’s Land and Barbican.
Go-Cornwall Service 73 will follow the 73A route and will be unable to serve Widegates and No Man’s Land.
School buses in the afternoon from Looe School will be allowed through the closure and will operate their usual route, although there may be delays.
Road Closure – London Apprentice to Polgooth
13 to 15 November 2023
The road between Sweets Garage Polgooth to London Apprentice will be closed between the 13 and 15 November. During the closure period Travel Cornwall Service 23 will operate on diversion. Towards St Austell Trelowth via Sticker, Polgooth Inn to Trelowth. Towards Gorran Haven via Trelowth, Polgooth Inn, then to London Apprentice via Sticker. School contract buses will be allowed through the closure and operate as normal.
Overnight Road Closure – A38 Glyn Valley
13 to 18 November 2023
There will be overnight closures on the A38 Glyn Valley between Turfdown and Doublebois on Monday to Friday evenings from 2030 between the 13 and 18 November. Access will be retained until midnight for Go-Cornwall Service 11 from the Turfdown Roundabout to and from Bodmin Parkway Station.
Road Closure – Upper Chapel, Launceston
13 November to 8 December 2023
Due to BT works there will be closures at Upper Chapel which will affect Go-Cornwall Service 23 which will operate under diversion. Please confirm the details with the operator.
Road Closure – Dunders Hill, Polzeath
13 to 15 November 2023
Dunders Hill will be closed between the 13 and 15 November between the hours of 0730 and 1700. During the closure period Go-Cornwall Service 96 will from Wadebridge operate to Rock where it will turn and operate into Polzeath via South Winds where it will turn. From Camelford the reverse will operate. During the closure period Trebetherick won’t be served The Service 96 school bus to and from Wadebridge School will have access through the closure and will operate its normal route.
Road Closure – Hendra Road, St Dennis
14 to 19 November 2023
Due to works by National Grid Hendra Road at St Dennis will be closed between the 14 and 19 November. During the closure period Go-Cornwall Services 21 and 22 will operate on diversion via Robartes Road, Wellington Road and Trelavour Road in both directions and will be unable to serve stops along Hendra Road.
Rail Service Disruptions
Network Rail Maintenance
From May, train timetables will only be available for 6 weeks instead of the usual 12 weeks. This is expected to be the case for 6 months due to planned engineering projects across the country.
