The Routes
The project aims to create new trails to enable safe journeys for commuters, families and visitors. The trails will provide approximately 13km of off-road and on-road trails. This will be across public and private land. This involves many landowners and working within strict ecological parameters.

The project is funded as follows –
- Perranporth to Goonhavern Trail - Entire route funded by National Highways and Cornwall Council
- St Agnes to West Langarth Trail - St Agnes to Sevenmilestone, Chiverton Bridge and Chiverton Bridge to West Langarth sections are funded by ERDF.
- The Sevenmilestone to Chiverton Bridge - National Highways.
- West Langarth to Threemilestone section will be delivered by adjacent Northern Access Road scheme
The funding is split as follows:
- The National Highways funding is £11.9M
- The ERDF funding is £5.158M plus Local Transport Plan funding of £1.289M
- The Cornwall Council funding is £2M
The St Agnes to Threemilestone Saints Trail project is receiving up to £5,158,456 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
This is part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities is the Managing Authority for the ERDF.
Established by the EU, the ERDF helps local areas stimulate their economic development. They invest in projects which will support businesses and create jobs.
